Would you post more if you could make money here?

I've seen you post in that mod on XenForo asking if you need to create a Google AdSense revenue sharing account with them first, then saw tenants reply with this.

This was why I asked how comes it's asking you to "Associate your Google" account with AdSense. According to his reply, you shouldn't be seeing that button being asked to do that.

Right... never mind. It's seems you have another mod installed here that somewhat confuses things a little. One called: Google Integration.

If it would mean that adds would be more visible, then that would put me off.

 

The contributor group (which you are part of) will never see ads but you can enter your pub ID and make money.

 

What groups do you currently have this enabled for? Is it only for staff and contributors? I'm curious because it's blocked for me, so I wanted to make sure that was intentional.

 

What do you mean blocked, I haven't looked in a couple hours but I thought your group "active" should have access to add your code and you'll see the ads. (unless you have adblock)

I do see annoying adds in posts and in the header.

hmm, you shouldn't see the one in the post, I'll look into it when I get back home.
The header banner has nothing to do with this mod.

 

Supporters are set to "never" see the ads in the post.

I'm just trying to get anyone to test it at this point, it should say ( Ad User: Username) under the add. Everyone but the brand new members should have access to enter their adsense code.
It looks to just be a text box, I wonder what stops users from entering another script banner..

 

Good point that, as I noticed it's just a box for a member to paste their full adsense banner code in. What's stopping them from posting a tall tower banner that would look stupid for instance displayed in posts.

 

There are restrictions in the admincp that says it has to be a 468x60, so I'm guessing that would block any activity like that.

 

Ah, fair enough then.

Could they post that same sized banner, but using a different affiliate other than google adsense.
