What's with TAZ?

People will use what software they want, and a lot of the time it comes down to the numbers after the $ sign, and not what the product will do, that comes secondary.
Some people don't look far enough though, and I admit it is a long long time since I looked at XF and the MODs it had to offer, but I found all the decent ones I wanted were costing me $$$, when they were available FOC for VB.
One such case was the VBookie MOD, it's a fantastic MOD and FOC on VB, there was nothing that even came close to it with XF, free or otherwise.

When you point things like this out, they are ignored.

You can see what Mark looks like on his Facebook page, or you could before? He's an overweight little bloke with a bald head, or at least looked to be going bald. Which considering he usually has 17 years old listed in his profile, threw me a bit. He looked more in his 40's.

If you look hard enough, you'll find a real picture of me on web. I don't usually upload one, but did before used as an avatar (until somebody stole it) and created a FAKE XENFORO MEMBER ACCOUNT using it and made a few silly posts. And no, I didn't create that account. Like how they did my birthday as 1st April (fools day) and listed me as 15 years old, lol. Wish I was 15 again!!!!

 

I am not bashing them. I've learned to more or less tolerate and amuse people like that.

You miss the point of what I mean.

Xenforo is a great product(I don't think it is better than IPB, nor do I think IPB necessarily is better than Xenforo. I use IPB and i like IPB but there are some things I was worried about hence why I am looking elsewhere.

Yes I can easily ignore them and if i switch, I likely will...but these are also the same types of people, that if i need any assistance, unfortunately they are the ones I'll have to rely upon. I'd hate for my site to become yet another statistic/tool to blow up their egos already about converting to xf(despite the fact we did technically start with XF before moving to ipb lol).

I don't get that amount of arrogance with IPB and I actually respect the community more since it is not a circle jerk of people on the IPB community sitting around proclaiming we are the best.

Considering I spend a fair amount of time on the IPB forums, I can only imagine what will happen if i do decide to switch over(Which it is 50/50 right now) and hang on the community there.

The point I am trying to make is, I can easily ignore idiots(as I usually do) but I hate the idea of even being associated with idiots and dumbasses in the first place.

Kind of how i was against Frats initially because of the reputation Fraternities have though i eventually did give it a chance and I'm in a frat
