What's new on Alien Soup?

Just a followup..

In the next 2 weeks you should be seeing significant changes around here related to design AND additional forum functionality as well as fresh/new areas of our website. This will require nothing on any member's parts (eww did I just say that?!) however it will require a short amount of downtime to complete (hours not days).. I'll keep you updated before it happens.

Also, we're still trying to work out some deals with a couple of websites to join in an alliance, but I really don't have an update I can post as of yet.

Lastly, we've got the Photo Gallery up and running again however we've encountered a few cookie and login detection problems (as some of you have already noticed). We're working to correct them as soon as possible so everyone can start posting new photos shortly.

Can You do the ols style 'New Posts' ?
When it shows all new posts for last 24 hours ... or somertimes I missed something

 

right - active topics vs. new posts, i agree

i think active topics still exists, but there's no link to it

 

I'll certainly take a look at that 'last 24 hours' thing for you...

 

Okay, now at the top of the page you can click on "View Active Topics" for posts in the last 24 hours. The 'new posts' selection in the nav below it will still work as it did before.
