What will you do if xenforo closes shop this year

    Is that a good idea from a cost based perspective? I mean, sure a lot of amazing developers can code PHP and MySQL, but wouldn't it be much more expensive to hire someone (or a company) to maintain XenForo every time something breaks or needs updating? It's kind of why people buy off the shelf software like XenForo/Invision Power Board/vBulletin to begin with, because it's cheaper than having something custom made or updated.

    But hey, if you're one of those people with money to burn on this kind of thing go ahead. It's just I'd say it's best that programmers are the types of people who stick with XenForo and update it themselves, since hiring people to do custom work could end up being expensive quite quickly.
