What reward do you give to someone who donates?

Just because someone is a supporter doesn't mean they'd make a good moderator. Tread lightly. Moderators should be chosen from active users who are pretty helpful and love to create more discussion.

 

I have Site Vendor's which costs $50 and allows you a stickied thread in the FS section and the right to advertise your business in posts/signature. Plus custom user title and username colour

Site Sponsors (donations $25 or over) get a custom user title and username colour. Plus increased PM's.

 

When people donate I give them a few things. The first thing is that they get there own private board that only donators and staff members can access. I also increase their PM storage, make there username in green and let them add a few custom smiles.
