What happened to vBulletin 4?

It won't happen....the team are too busy piddling about with the CMS and Social groups and other unnecessary froth that tried to compete with Facebook but is actually made of fail whale.

Incidentally, although I have all the default quoting features enabled as well, the one I use the most on my board (and miss the most on other boards) is the "Quote Highlighted Text" hack, which is just brilliant. I even managed to mung it into Social groups as well alongside the "Quotes in Social Groups" hack (fancy not being able to Quote in social groups eh?)

 

MyBB does this. You click the multi-quote and on the quick reply box you can see at the bottom "You have selected one or more posts to quote. Quote these posts now or deselect them."

Exactly. I do run a MyBB installation and the way it does that is much more intuitive.
