lol actually the background is a laundromat. Took my then new laptop out for the first time and had free WiFi -- I was in heaven.

 

Dang, that's real nice. I can't even get WiFi on this laptop. I have to keep my internet cord plugged in or the net doesn't work.

 

Ouch on the no Wifi. Have you thought about a USB wifi thingy?

That laundromat is like 45 mins from my house and used to be open 24 hours. Being a night owl, in the summer I used to roll out there 2-3 in the morning get coffee at Dunkin D, do the laundry, and surf the web. Now it closes at 11 so I go to a closer laundromat with no Wifi but I get a 3G connection on my cell.

 

Ya, I had one of those but they ended up breaking on me. At least, I can sit in the living room if I'd like with the cord plugged in. I know why it does this its because my network card[in the laptop] blew up for some odd reason.

 

I picked my avatar to complement the username that I use on the forums that I am at. Since my name is thenextGeek, I tried to find an avatar that sort of looks like a nerd too.

Yup, it's a tree. But it's not JUST a tree. It's one of the most popular trees there are.

If you didn't guess it, it's the Joshua Tree, the one U2 used for their album cover and name back in 1987. They're my favorite band and that album is one of my favorites. An all-time classic of course

I generally use different avatars and names for every site I join, and I thought black and white would suit this site. And who knows, maybe I can meet a fellow fan who's ALSO a webmaster, like me!

 

Mine was setup years ago on Grafitar (or something like that).
It keeps coming back to haunt me every so often.

But onto the question, BE for BleepyEvans, my username.
Why BleepyEvans? My surname is Evans and the Bleepy is the name of a friends sheep, it kinda stuck.

My avatar is a hydralisk from the Zerg species in the game Starcraft, which I used to play a lot!!

Nothing. I just made a pact one time to use a different Nintendo related avatar on every forum I joined. Or basically, it's related to my site topic and I chose it at random because I don't like using the same avatar on multiple websites.

Well, mine is a cartoon image of Jet Lee which was drawn by my elder brother. It means nothing to me, I only decided to use it here cause it looks cool.

 

My avatar is a source of strength. I've been a Batman fan my whole life, so time to represent.

 

My avatar is from my Hamilton automatic wrist watch. Its my current flavor of the month. For some reason I have taken a real liking to automatics. My first was bought back in 2009, I now have 6 ranging in styles and price. I really love the mechanical side of how these watches work.

 

My Avatar means that I am broke and chances are I will be for some time. Since my avatar is a cartoon, I don't take my situation seriously. My "name" is something that I came up with while I was a Japanophile. It sounded Japanese, so I used it..(lol).

 

My avatar (and my username) represent the line of work I'm in and how much I love it!

 

Mine is a photo of me at the 2011 National Severe Weather Symposium in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am a storm chaser nerd haha. That day I also chased a big tornado through Iowa.
