vBulletin Nightmare

So apparently the vBulletin team has been telling people that the people who were banned received multiple warnings. I received none, whatsoever, in any form. So now, in addition to all of the extremely bad forum/business decisions, they are now going to add straight up lying to the list?

vB sinks lower every day.

What is it with annoying people with zero post counts suddenly making "blank" posts in threads? Is there some feature they are trying to get access to or something?

It's probably worth mentionning that this blog post also makes thee google news feed under INET. I don't know if it's a coincidence but their stock is down 7.80% at this moment and it seems to just not stop going down...

Well, sorry. :S Lately many people are being really rude, as you can see for just posting a link some one didn't find it helpful when links, actually bashing vB/IB were posted around and almost all of them were deemed as helpful.

The vB/IB situation went from silly to just plain ridiculous(not really from vB/IB's part).

Yeah, that's why I posted the blog post to be honest (and why I made the decision to come out of lurking here too).

And nothing to apologise for, you weren't to know it's my blog - I don't usually link the two names as being me.. this is my "I don't want to draw attention to who I am" name LOL

Good propaganda for vBulletin though... if you make mistakes, just lie about it and say you didn't.

vBulletin has only responded to one of my support tickets in the last week, and after the first response, they stopped. A couple other tickets have gone unanswered for a few days now as well.

Additionally, noone from vBulletin is answering questions here any longer.

The company has for all practical purposes excommunicated me.

Okay, maybe they didn't technically disable access to the ticket system, but they stopped responding to my tickets.

To me, that is the exact same thing.
