vBulletin license, vBSEO license and Invision Power Board license (Cheap)

    I have two outstanding orders with him.

    He was very friendly with my first one, even tho I had to contact him about it. He said that he missed that order for some reason.

    This time I've emailed him several times with no response.

    I'll give it a little more time.

    And yes, he is running a business, and whatever is happening in his personal life (barring anything serious again) is no excuse. He has a responsibility to keep his customers informed.

    I wonder how they go out of stock, either he does it or it does itself. Problem could be too many buyers and no licenses. He could be looking for some. Who knows.

    You know you can wait by not bumping the thread everyday. As said by other members give it time, not just one day. If its more than a week and a half report him to paypal.;)

    Ak Worm, in business industry, communication to customers is top priority. If you are gonna wait 3 to 5 days for a reply, then im sorry, you are out of the league.

    No excuse. I run a business too, I have a life, but I still manage to get initial responses (albeit automated) out within 1 hour and work for full resolution within 24, and I consider 24 hours way too long.

    Absolutely!

    It's a simple supply and demand logic. 6 months ago, we weren't sure about a lot of things with vB and people were selling licenses cheap and buying them cheap. Now, nobody's selling, and everyone wants cheap licenses.


    And you don't have to reply to the thread every time they reply, especially with unreasonable advice like "give it a week and a half". ALL online transactions should be taken care of and resolved within 24 hours. If it's not , there's something wrong.

    Well if he has transferred licenses before (which he did) and has replied to the first come first server people then stops for a few days, does that mean he's not going to respond to his clients? NOPE!

    Ak Worm, then you have much more to learn about communication :) He could be out of stock, and a simple update from him like, "Hi Customer Name, I am currently out of stock at the moment, and the license may take up to 2 weeks to be transferred to you. If you wish to cancel, feel free to response to this email and I will proceed with the refund" is not too demanding right? :)

    Or he could refuse orders if he's out of stock. There's a genius idea! Right now, he already does this, I'm wondering how many complaints it took before that to happen.

    You're right though, all it takes is a simple C&P email, done up once.

    This is hardly a viable excuse, particularly when you are managing an online business with stakeholders (i.e. current and prospective clients) who have an interest in the services/products being offered. It is therefore his responsibility to ensure that his clients are aware of such situations.
