Wow, that sucks. I shouldn't have renewed a few weeks ago then.

Why did Ray tell us all to keep our licenses active/current so that we could take advantage of the discount, if they were going to give it to inactive licenses as well? 'Tis quite the scheme.

THAT is the kind of stuff that pisses customers off.

 

If you renewed promptly you still saved money. You'll be able to upgrade to 4.0 Forums for free or upgrade to the suite. There will probably be additional discounts available to you after 4.0 is released outside this presell and not available to expired accounts.

This new offer just builds the price of the $60.00 renewal into the price for recently expired licenses and a slightly higher renewal for older existing licenses. However they can't buy renewal separately and will not be able to upgrade to 4.0 when it is released unless they upgrade their license at the full price.

 

I just don't get why everyone is so upset about the prices
