VB4 Gold is out.

Not at all. You're entirely right and it annoys me too.

As is well known, I used to hjave major issues which were mainly resolved. However I still don't fee that vB4 is good enough for a Gold release. I tire of seeing the sort of responses you mention - legitimate concerns are legitimate concerns, one can disagree and offer advice but all too often people are pounced upon.

 

Just been reading that Memcache is not working with the CMS.

 

Thats depends on what you mean.

Memcache is not used to cache cms data (neither is xcache etc). The CMS

 files (and datastore) still use them.
