I already know what transformers is based off. I watched all the episodes, had the toys, wore the T-shirt (so to speak). If it's booms, spoons & automobiles then this is a hit already. If your going their to expect some hooker being woed by a billionaire then you've gone into the wrong screening room and watching pretty woman, and you'll be bitterly disappointed even more than I was with the laughing hyenas sitting behind me and the munching pig eating her popcorn all through the movie and bumping my arm everytime she drank her 10 gallon can of juice.

Anyway, live and learn. I normally wait to see movies when they are released on bluray.

Well I had planned on going and see it but our ranch trip got pushed back to the time the movie is released. We're going to be out of town for about a month...which most of it will be spent out away from places with a theater. So I may have to wait and catch it on DVD :(

I am really mad now. It's not fair. I've been waiting ages to see it.

I will probably go to the midnight showing for the fun of it, but these movies are not the greatest to me. I don't really understand the hype they get. The first one was great, I guess, but there are many similar action movies that are just as good, if not better.

It doesn't have premiere until tomorow but its an secret premiere or whatever you should call it.

If there wasn't a little thing called "work" then I would definitely be going to the 12:01 showing tonight (:P).

So I'll be going tomorrow afternoon. :D

I hate Michael Bay and all of his movies (except The Rock) for the most part. Transformers 1 was okay. I usually do not follow reviews (I loved Year One, for instance--funniest movie I've seen in a while), but given the absolute horror that is present in some of the reviews--I probably will not be going to see it:

    Roger Ebert:
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen :: rogerebert.com :: Reviews

    Tom Long (Detroit News):
Ebert is my favorite reviewer so far. :)

Never follow reviewers myself. They compare everything to whether or not it is worthy of an Oscar or not. 95% are not so are deemed garbage. Not sure why people dislike Michael Bay. Don't see a problem with him myself. I guess he directed a movie that tore up someone's childhood idol or something. He's just a director though. He doesn't have creative control over the stories. Especially with Spielberg producing.

Personally I don't follow reviews or critics whatsoever. Their opinions are the totally opposite of mine 99% of the time (a movie I really liked is reviewed as horrible by critics) so it's nothing to go by.
Who cares if the movie's plot wasn't the most intriguing; who cares if it doesn't make sense; all that matters is that the viewer enjoys it, regardless of how "good" of a movie it is.

Yea reviewers seems to think the opposite from me 2. If I really hate an movie then they really like it.
