    The first thing that I would urge you to do is look at yoru forum and determine how it is different from your competition. What do you offer that they do not? Once you have that answer you could build a "brand" around that... including the name and domain name for your website.

    For example, let's say (just for giggles) that you're gaming site will offer tips and tricks on how to beat the most popular games and the other sites don't do that. I would suggest capitalizing on that by naming it "Gamer Tricks" or "Gamer Secrets." Then your domain would be gamertricks.com or gamersecrets.com.
