Ok other than the fact that there is no members or really any posts, as well as its a "Mom Board", what other problem do you think there is with my forum and why it doesn't seem to grab anyone to want to join?

Just launched. I am trying to add in topics and making more posts. I have not really gotten anyone to join just yet but am hoping that if I do I will do invite competitions as well as posting comps.

Right now I think I just really need to get more members and posts going.
I am willing to do link exchanges with anyone that is interested.

 

Oh okay. Launching is the hardest part; for sure. But once you have the active community, pretty much runs itself.

Also, posting/referral contests are great. Make sure the prizes are breathtaking and will make moms think twice about joining. Cool prizes like gift cards for Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Amazon Gift cards, money, etc etc will get people enthused.

Sorry but I wouldn't join that site because I've seen the skin 30 million times, and it has nothing that could lead me to think there was science there.

I can't seem to find anything on your site that tells me what the forum is about. The portal should have a little "About Us" blurb or something.

Can't say I'm a fan of birds! I'm on a 24 inch screen and I just barely start to see the first line of actual forums, the rest is registration bits, thumbnails and ads. And the header banner has way too much mirror effect, maybe decrease the opacity at the image bottom so it fades more thoroughly?
