The "Not-So" Private Messaging System

I just tested it on my test site and it quotes the message in the report.

 

I'm pretty sure it does the same thing that happens when a post is reported: creates a thread in the specified forum/section.

I've even heard of some administrators that go so far as to have custom coding done to display all user's PMs on their front-end profile, just for their ease of viewing/browsing. They are the only one who has access, but they can just go to a member's profile in order to read all of their private correspondence.
This, my friends, is what I call sick. :frown:

 

If I would find out that any forum I was an member on did this then I would leave in an second.

 

Not only is that unethical and uncalled for, but who has the time? I really don't care about the private messages they send back and forth. I imagine they're pretty mundane.
