Who, the character in the avatar? Yep, that's me. Nick wanted to wear the paper bag over his head, but I tore it from his hands before he got a chance.

As the sticky thread states, we are indeed able to see the underlying user behind the post (or under the paper bag ).

Also, this could be useful if a user wants advice without people knowing who it is. i.e. when asking about reading users' PMs or something. :shrug:

 

I'm sure if someone was acting inappropriately the mods here would erase the post, anonymous or not. I could see situations where this feature would be useful for people wanting to ask questions and not be judged for it.

 

I think someone should do an AA fanpic with a bag over there head for its avatar

 

If I have time today, I'll do that.

 

Don't forget to include a sign that reads, "Addicts Anonymous".

 

I shall go further on that idea and suggest he draws a large question mark on the bag in marker pen
