If you just updated you 3.8 license (however it is worded these days), or upgraded to v4, then you are all set for (almost) a year with v3.8. I would not spend a whole lot of time worrying either way. You are covered : )

3.8 works well and you will get updates. Take the time to look for good deals ; )
