10 inches last night/today. Fortunately, I have my toy. 10 1/2 Horsepower, 5 foward speeds, 2 reverse. A snapper. We had a piece of medal welded on that you could stand on, but turning corners got to tough.
Ya gotta love it. Most of our snow melted this past week as temps warmed up into the upper 30's/low 40's. S'posed to hit 50 tomorrow (Sunday). Next week - the week I'm moving, of course - the forecast calls for snow showers almost every friggin' day, highs in the low-to-mid 30's, lows in the teens. yep, ya just gotta love it.
We'll be receiving quite a bit of snow this afternoon, according to the latest forecast. Good 'ole New England weather.
It's been snowing here since last night. Had blinding snow this afternoon, and the temps are dropping fast. Forecast is for 8 F tonight, with windchill of 2 below. brrrrrrrr.....
Last winter we had about 3 feet of snow. It took about a day to clean out the whole driveway. The snowblower was not even able to move it. This year... well I am not sure if we can call it snow. -December- Snowed once or twice and melted the same day. -January- Snowed once and melted the next day. Total was less than 6 inches. Chirstmas just wasn't the same without the snow.
I hear ya! This has been a very mild Winter for us so far, hardly any snow compared to the last couple of years.
We lived outside of Pittsburgh in Mars (by Cranberry Township) Yes, they even had a spaceship in the middle of town, it was cute! My husband is from New Castle, PA. I saw the temps there this morning and felt your pain! I definitely remember having to shovel a trail for the girls to catch the school bus.
Yep Mars is about an hour and 10 mins SW of me. I've heard rumors of a spaceship in the middle of town, but didn't know if they were just stories. That's funny. This is both the coldest, and snowiest, winter on record for many, many years. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
The man who plows our driveway nearly went down the hill and into the stream the other day. There is a sheet of thick ice topped with just enough snow to make it treacherous.
We haven't had new snow in over a week, and most of it's melted. Now, we're under a winter weather advisory as of tomorrow morning. Expecting 3-5" Friday night into Saturday morning. woo hoo
There's no snow in sight for us (it's about time). We experienced a dusting a few days back, but that was about it.
