Gives me a headache just thinking about it. Do they have paid moderators?

    Insane, isn't it?

That's a good question. I wouldn't be surprised, however - at that rate, it'd be wise to hire and/or compensate their staff team (I know that I would).

.. Michelle, that is a VERY good question, can some one interview the dude that owns this board?

I don't see why they would need to pay their moderators. If they are delegated on a per-section basis, then it's really no different than moderators of an average-sized forum. You'll just have a bunch more of 'em.

Don't shake your finger at me. Shame on you.

Seeing as the board is so large, compensating the staff team is something to consider. If moderators are delegated on a "per forum" basis, then no, doing so may not be necessary. If, however, moderation duties are divided between a select group of super moderators and/or other staff members, this is a viable option.

Precisely what I was referring to. :)

    No.

Actually, their staff team is not that large. I'm sure you can find normal sized forums (1,000,000 posts or so) with larger staff teams. They don't need to maintain order. There are barely any restrictions. The main purpose of the moderators are to watch out for jailbait porn and anything else that would be entirely illegal to post anywhere.

When you wake up, take note of the statistics. Then compare them to right before you go to bed.

._. By tomorrow they would have more than one million posts posted in one day.

Oh, I didn't know that they don't have many restrictions.

Makes you wonder how many new members are bots or spammers.

Possibility that they reset their counters after purging old threads.
