Obama health care starts Oct 1st!

Canada hasn't had to defend themselves since 1812 when they kicked the hell out of some colonial upstarts. And in spit of it's neighbor having 100's of military bases in 100's of countries provoking dissension with other nations it has pretty much left others to deal with their own problems. If the US stayed home and minded its own business like looking after their own people, then the rest of the world wouldn't have to over spend their budgets to pull their arse out of the fire all the time. If the US kicks a hornets nest of radicals with no respect for human life they can expect and have been stung many times.
With all that and what our politicians have done to our people and veterans, I have little pride in the US as a whole. The people are great, what the politicians force us to do to each other is disgraceful.

 

If we brought all our troops home, sealed our borders, and stuck to ourselves your world would cease to end as you know it. And yes we could since all the gold is really here even if it's on the books somewhere else. China would go broke and start marching their armies to fill the gap. Think Obama is a communist? You haven't seen anything until China has no stopgap to keep it in check.

Whatever the problems the US has it is nothing compared to what everyone else will have if we close up shop. Most of us over here are sick of our outreach program.
