Leveraging Social Groups in vB

Let members promote their favorite social groups in their signature. And when members ask for a new forum, tell them to open up a new group and that you want to see how active it will become. This will motivate members to promote the use of their group.

 

Might be a good idea to have something display in the postbit or signature fields for those members who are in a social group.

I haven't added any social groups activated on any of my sites. But, I'm looking to set them up on WDBoards.com and I want to have them succeed. So, I'm definitely going to use Wayne's suggestions along with a couple of additional mods that I've seen floating around on the Org.
