He runs an anti fraud/anti spam site. I'm pretty sure his very mission in life is to side with the customers.

And that's not a bad thing, because vBulletin did screw up a few things and ban/punish some people unfairly.

I don't think there's any question Internet Brands has adversely affected the manner in which vBulletin support staff deal with customers.
There are valid questions being asked by customers which are simply falling on deaf ears.
Nevertheless, I don't know the facts of the specific case in question and therefore draw no conclusions.
I will say I've known Joe for quite some time on both his own forums and on vBulletin and I've never known him to be a liar.

    Joe is a mixed bag...

Sometimes hes honest and other times I consider him to be a Baghdad Bob.

You never know which joe your going to get.

But one thing is very clear about Mr DiBiasi and that he appears to have no customer service skills at all.

At your leisure contact me for a lot of proof that he is a liar. I have MANY examples and many in his OWN words. Joe USED to be a stand up guy, but has been compromised by the self confessed scammers he now supports.
A google search of his name and user names will back me up. Even his own mods on his site are now fed up with his deceit. Again please feel free to check.

True, I am not SatGuyScott or one of the mods there, but I did see the posts or at least some of them. I have also seen the posts here. I consider SatGuyScott to be truthful while I have a lot of information that shows some of the mods on VB,org to be unreliable to say the least.

I have seen the mods on VB.org and how they behave towards their members, many of who are VB customers and it is disgusting.

The words "power drunk" spring to mind.

It is obvious what is going on with VB, and if a person is cold and has terrific injuries and has no heart beat or pulse then one does not need to be a doctor to work out that He is probably dead. First hand knowledge of any accident is not required to reach this decision. The results are plain to see. So it is with VB.

I do agree with this. And it will continue, unless we as customers intervene and stand up and be counted.

It is not my decision to unban anyone. If you were banned or the phone number you may not be the person I was thinking of. Someone was banned for repeatedly trying to get ForumRunner support even after he was told we do not provide ForumRunner support at vb.com (at the time) and was told the correct place to get it. I do not pay all that close attention to those who are banned since I neither ban nor unban them.

If that wasn't you I apologize.

The truth is not always easy to swallow. I accept your valid criticism I may not be great at customer service but that is because I tend to be blunt and to the point. That may come across as rude to some people, but it is what it is.

I thought I would look up Baghdad Bob to be sure and the description fits Joe to a T.

I dont think counting how many times you have been banned from any forum is something to boast about.

I've been banned twice, both pre-IB acquisition, and post-IB acquisition. To me, the second time is the worst of the two bans. In my opinion, of course.

There seems to be one common thing about all these ban's and its who the person is who is banning folks.

I think this graphic fits the offender perfectly. :) (Hope this brings everyone a smile!) :)

I don't mind Wayne, or really any staff
I think some of them take their job a bit to seriously but I can't be mad at someone for doing the job assigned to them.
