In about 9 days, it'll mark my communities' one year anniversary. We've accomplished a lot in the past year alone, and I'm looking forward to this year's mark - and to see what else we can accomplish as a community.

I have been running my forum for about 2 and a half months. We're at 1500 posts now, and things are starting to pick up a little bit. We need more daily posts though.

My forum was launched in July of this year. I am trying to get it going and just need members to start posting as I believe this is a niche that has not been tackled

Judging by your username, are you running a TV/entertainment forum by any chance?

Yes, the site contains a different forum for every currently airing reality tv show. I also wrote the code myself.

What made you decide to code your own forum? How come you didn't go with any free forum software or paid?

I am teaching myself to be a web designer/developer and I wanted my forum to be unique and look completely different than all the others. As you can see many of the forums on this site look similar with different colors and headers. Mine is unique.

My book forum was started in 2005, so I'm quite proud that it's still going strong. :)

I've also ran a couple of health forums (specific conditions) - one is closed, and the other has changed ownership and is now the basis of a charity.
