Help us choose: Flat (current) or 3D (new) Postbit

Ok, so I just read the first post again and the ones attached are the 3D ones. :lol: I was asking myself what's so different about the two and calling you all nutters. :lol:

 

A lot of people seem to like the 3D version. I would have changed it already but I know Shelley is completely against it so I kind of want to hear more opinions.

 

It looks weird to me on most boards, I like the flat look.

 

A little depth to the information might be nice. However you need to make sure that you do not make them look like interactive buttons. Elements should not appear to offer functionality that they lack.

The current display fits in with the current style where your button graphics are also flatter than a traditional button.

 

I've set this up; please let me know if you have any issue with having it this way.

I don't like it. I preferred the old blue stroked border which was more subtle. Not really an issue but more of a preference I thought looked better.

 

I thought I liked it, but I don't think I do - that much. It looks okay, but I think it draws too much attention to the postbit.

Also note that the poll is tied even. :p

I realized how much I don't really like it after I did it.

 

I thought I liked it at first, probably because it was different.
I like the blue boxes better.

 

I have reverted it back. I'm glad we can check this off the list of things to ponder about.

 

I largely prefer the flat version it looks much more professional.
