I've had people ask for mod positions, but never admin.

I actually had to ask for an admin position once, but it was because I was the one that was recruited to maintain a phpBB and keep it up-to-date. It was a little hard to do that sometimes when I couldn't access the admin panel (I did have the keys to the database and all files, tho ).
