I've seen GamerBB advertised on the Xenforo boards, and quite frankly I'm blown away. You've only been up for a little over two months and already have 10,000 good, quality posts? As a fellow (less successful) new gaming forum admin, I want to know your secret.

The theme is really sleek - not a big fan of dark themes in general but this one's really sleek and attractive. But holy crap, the postcount!

 

Thanks for the kind words! Really helps me stay dedicated to hear feedback like this. There's really no secret. I have a lot of friends that I've made over 7-8 years of being on forums and they joined immediately. On top of that there is PostLoop and ForumPromotion. That's honestly the only tools I use. I'll be checking out your forum, so expect to see me soon!

 

I've been thinking about registering and posting 4P up on ForumPromotion, but I'd never heard of PostLoop before. I've never tried post exchanges, but it might be something to look into.

Not to take Savvy's thread off-topic but as your forum is new Post Exchanges and constant advertising is what you need. But dont rely on it for your main source of traffic.

Seriously though it's a good idea, Sync. It's a good way to get some activity flowing within your community. That's a neccessity with new forums. Try to get new post in every board everyday. Even if it is only 1 post in each board it creates the illusion of consistent activity.
