Do you Twitter?

That's good! Now you just need to work on luring those followers to the forum. It's worked a treat for me; quite a few of the members that sign up here say that they found the site by following me on Twitter.

 

I generally get 8-15 visitors every time I link a story to my site but no new members yet..not from Twitter anyhow But I really don't try to spam the system either. I figured slow and stead should work. Once I get my new promotions up and running I'll mention it on twitter and see what happens.

 

Anyone having issues with Twitter?

I do use Twitter for my ice cream forum, but I find it to be more of a chore then anything else.

 

I feel the same way. It's fun at first, but it then becomes to be a bit of a hassle ("Ugh, I forgot to post an update on Twitter").

 

That's where feeds come in handy.

I think twitter is kinda useless and boring. That's just me though to each their own.

You can use twitterfeed, as suggested, but if you're using vBulletin, I'd suggest vB Tweet Poster which handles things much more efficiently and doesn't rely on 3rd party websites.
