Where's the complaint department? I feel being placed on ignore by so many members is censorship. :woot:

Just keep in mind the complaints department might well ignore you as much as Internet Brands' one did.

I never made the mistake of complaining to Internet Brands. Why have legitimate concerns fall on deaf ears?

Because they are legitimate concerns? Better bury them, when you can't see them then you don't have any problems. :P

The only legitimate concern at Internet Brands is the one in JIRA.

It's been a few months now, and I didn't read most if the posts in this thread, but did vBSEO ever suspend operations?

For a few days it had removed the sales page.. That's about it as far as I know.

You can not buy vBSEO anymore the sales page is closed, you'll need at least one license to buy more.

It looks like DragonByte is swooping in for the kill.

Meaning? And that may not be good news at all. I've had problems with their mods.

They announced DBSEO and one of the goals is to make the transition from vBSEO painless. I probably shouldn't advertise for them the way he badmouthed people at Xenforo.com. And they do have the ugliest and most horrible loading site around. But it is what it is.

Yeah that sounds about right. Steal someone's idea. Package it up as a "new" DragonByte Lite Product, and then tell people when it doesn't work that they need to buy the "Pro" product if they actually want functionality.

I'll rewrite the URLs myself before I buy anything from that shady outfit.

So one shady business gets replaced by another shady business... guess it's the whole 'meet the new boss/product, same as the old boss/product'.

Some of their products were junk, but I swear by their vbOptimizer.

Funny thing about that mod, not to continue to take this off-topic but vbseo is dead anyways but..

That vboptimizer mod didn't do anything other then gave you one place to check all the vb settings already in place to optimize your site.
I always thought that was funny, I've never paid for one of the "pro" mods or suggested it, so I'm not sure if the "pro" had anything extra in it.

The only good mod they have is the arcade. That worked pretty damn well. But then, there are not many arcades to compare it with.
