Creepy Members: What to Do?

I think with any forum you're bound to get the occasional creep.

 

I've never had the creepy member case yet, but if I did, I'd probably end up banning them, as I'm sure they would be violating some sort of rule. It's my job to be on the lookout for my members' well being and safety, so I will not tolerate somebody who surpasses those boundaries like Sweeks' case.

 

That's about as creepy as it gets. Or at least as obvious.

 

ewwwwwwww yeah ive seen a few creepy members. they mostly come from a larger forum me, half the members of one of the forums i admin on, and also our competitor and most of her forum members post on, as well as a lot of trolls and members on other forums.....seems everyone makes forums cause they think they can do better than the mods who post there and dont care about it.

that place has has loads of weirdos. usually theyre ignored until they wander onto the other forums whos admins advertise there.

there was the weirdo who said he was a celebrity so cant reveal his identity. he made a forum that was about the weirdest sexual practices i have ever heard of....he spammed the links to young female members, including several members of my forum.

then there was a member who was about 50 and posted a pic of himself naked on another forum, and was a bit pervy...last time i heard of him, a 20 year old forum member's mother said on fb that he was asking her daughter innapropriate question

then there was a man who got into online relationships with several forum members, then getting stalkerish for a bit, then moving onto another girl, usually under a different name. with a girl who hasnt been a member for the last times.

then there was our rival......she once stalked someone who trolled her forum, to the point of knowing where he works
