Have you ever seen the application Willys Sweet Shoppe on Facebook? That 3d type of icecream look would be really cool on your forum with a really nice header to go with it.

I'm currently incredibly fond of the design at vbcodex. Even though, on the face of it, it's nothing particularly revolutionary, but it looks wonderfully bright and clean and neat, and most importantly it shakes off that "blocky" image that vb3 has which is sadly looking dated now.

I absolutely agree. vBCodex is a sweet design.

I think it would be nice if people didn't post their own forums in this thread!

It does say "other than your own" in the first post.

It's just not at all convincing when people post their own...imagine if I said "hmm, well this site www.myforum.com is one of the best designs I've ever seen" blah blah blah. It'd just make me look desperate and the opinion would be worthless.

I'd also like to add that Disabled NYC and the Ice Cream Forum owned by our very own Michelle is nice!

I'm not to keen of the Chic Petite style. It looks VERY, well- uninitiated. Very amateur-ish.

Unless you're Plazz - then you know it's a friendly joke.

Thanks for your two cents, Mark, though, some people do think that their site is best designed, and, well, don't think any others are as nice as theirs.

Well I think that of mine, though as seen in my review, not everyone feels the same way, and their view is perfectly valid. I cannot hope to impartially assess my own design.

I just think that this thread is better served by people praising the design of sites *other* than their own, and it was also asked for in the original post.

Not to worry, it's no big deal, just my own view.

My bad, I always get this wrong, it's just a tough jumble of letters after all.

    iKFUPM

    Oh, and AboxCafe. Brilliantly designed.

    Of course.

And, why can't you value your own design?

    Plazz, I must agree!

iKFUPM looks great, especially that quality-filled header.

You can value it, you just can't be impartial about it.

Thank you for the compliments on two of my forums, Tom :) As for the Chic Petite, I agree that it isn't quite where I want it yet. I've just been dreading opening up the PSDs cuz I really don't know what I'm doing :) And actually, I want to redo the ice cream forum too. All in time.

Even if you do think your own forum is the best-looking, that's fine. I'm sure everybody thinks theirs looks best; otherwise, they would change it to something else.

Regardless, the original post asks for you to post forums other than your own. That means if you think your forum is the best looking, then keep it to yourself. Otherwise, share whatever forum you think looks nice.
