Currently, the unread posts counter goes back ten days. So if a new member joins and there have been 10,000 posts in the past ten days, that's the number they will see. Same thing if a user goes away for a while and then comes back.

I was thinking it may be a good idea to reduce this number of days. Your thoughts?

 

Yes, I think that it would be a very good idea to decrease it down.

I feel like an idiot - I feel asleep while watching Leno and I missed the end where he allegedly had some special goodbye or something.

I'm hoping that you DVR'd the show, because it was hilarious... hell, I'm still laughing about it this morning. The "spelling bee" bit is continuously popping back into my head. :yes:

 

Chris, I saw the majority of it. I fell asleep during the musical performance. Was there anything good after that?

You're right that it was extremely hilarious - I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm sad to see him go (although he's sticking around at 10pm) but ecstatic the see Conan taking his place. I love 'em both.

 

I must admit... I dozed off, as well - I saw James Taylor's performance but I can't remember anything else after that (this is why DVR is a thing of beauty). A long-time family friend of ours actually grew up with Leno - when he comes back to visit the area, I'll have to tag along.

 

I'm half awake.

 

If it's any consolation, I'm in a great deal of pain from sleeping on the side I had surgery on.

 

Weren't we supposed to "Cut it out" a long time ago? Why do we keep going? I mean, what is motivating us? Why are we the way that we are?
