    With the costs of things I am not surprised people will break the law, look at the price of Photoshop, I cant see many of the pro designers we see today starting out buying it, they probably sat with it for years illegally before making the purchase. Breaking the law can actually help people better their knowledge, make their own living. Im not saying it is right but I can see why they would do it when it benefits themselves in really good ways.

    I doubt much will, considering he's only on probation for three years. If I read and recall correctly...

    The website linked in Nick's post says 3 years probation, no monetary fine but some nominal fees. Not exactly life in Alcatraz. "Big learning experience."

    It seems that some of the most intense and long-running crimes are often run by people with enough smarts, imagination and energy to do as well or better financially in honest endeavors. I'm not sure the motivation to take the other road is always monetary.
