^There's nothing saying REMOVE them... maybe just add a gallery or downloads manager for these features...

What if i dont want them, those things, SERVER LOAD. Forums are quite better.

Starting off, those features won't add so much of a load that your host should kick you, especially with so few members actually using it. I do agree, though, it does still seem cluttered.

Start small, then expand. Once you notice two main topics with a legitimate amount of threads taking place in one forum, then you should add more. But I'm not going to want to join a forum that has 100 sub-sections with only four or five of them active. I'd join one with fewer forums and more frequent posting in each one.

You request assistance, receive constructive criticism, and then reject all solutions offered in defense. I fail to understand your logic.

We do not make you do anything you asked for help and we are telling you what you should do to make it better and this is good feedback you are just to stubborn to realise that. If you don't wanna delete more forums then don't but if you want more members then do it.

Okay, i get it, so no one wants to join my forum, just because there is
a Graphics & Downloads section? But then, i will remove the downloads
and graphics tabs right? just those two?

Ok, listen, all of these people here who are giving you help, have more than 2 members. That means they must be doing something right. You come to us, we give you assistance, you basically reject it. Then you complain when no one joins your forum, we give you help here, and you still don't like it. People will eventually stop trying to help you if you keep acting immature about it.

Sometimes you have to do things you don't like to get where you want to go. Trust us, we're not out to kill your forum. Now there's a good chance that if you keep doing things your way, it'll grow. But I highly doubt that.

BTW, sarcasm won't help your case too much either.

First of all its good that you removed some forums but like I said earlier it isn't enough more needs to be removed and/or merged with other forums on there.

You need to market your site to get visitors and users. Not sure what you're doing as marketing now but it isn't working. Best way to market your site is to visit similar sites and build a reputation for yourself as someone to go to for knowledge in the niche. This means you really need to know your stuff when it comes to gaming. Marketing your sites is as much about marketing yourself as it is the pixels on the screen.

    So you need three things:
    1) Professional appearance. This includes every word you type on the internet as well as your site. You need proper spelling and grammar or as close to it as you can get. This means proper punctuation, sentence case, capitalization of words when appropriate and the use of paragraphs. I know my grammar isn't 100% perfect but I do the best I can. All people have to judge you on is your written word. Every post you make is an interview for new users to join your site. The coolest writing style is appearing to be as intelligent as you are. Even kids into "leet" speak can acknowledge intelligence when they see it.

Your site also needs a professional appearance. Drop the red and the black. It is juvenile and hard to read. Simply put your site needs to be inviting and welcoming. It also needs to reflect your target audience but also be usable by mainstream visitors as well. If you want a dark background than look at other sites that do it right. This includes big names like IGN and ESPN. Notice how the content is on a white background? It makes it easier to read. Look at game and movie sites as examples as well.

Oh, and drop the advertising. At least for now. It makes it appear that you don't really care about the visitor and are only in it for a few bucks. It doesn't matter if you are only in it for the money. You need eyeballs before you can make money. Right now, even if your site was number one for games in Google, most people would simply click the back button and continue down the list. You should look into having a professional style created by someone who knows web design or purchase one of the hundreds of pre-made styles available for vBulletin. If money is a concern, there are some really nice free styles as well. Though something like Consoul from Forum Monkeys would fit your site very well.

    2) Content. You need content. You cannot have a website without content. This should be easy for a gaming site. There are 5,000 potential products out there for you to review. Don't have the money to buy them, then sign up for a service like Gamefly and rent games. Set yourself a strict review time limit and send the game back. 3 days of playing time should give you enough time for 10 reviews a month which is quite a lot of content in reality. There is this misconception on the internet that if you build a site then you will make millions overnight. That isn't how it is. Like every other business venture in the world, you need to work long and tiring hours to make that money. The more effort you put into it, the more reward you can get later.

    3) Marketing. Not sure where you are marketing your site now but doing it through post exchanges and link exchanges from here isn't going to get you anywhere. Maybe a post here or there but really this isn't marketing. You need to get out there and market yourself with your newly learned grammatical skills and an overpowering knowledge of your niche. You need to post your views on sites like IGN and other big gaming blogs. Your views need to be well worded, thoughful and professional. You would include a link to your site. Do this right and you can establish yourself as an expert in the field of gaming. Submit well thought out reviews and articles on gaming to these blogs for added exposure. In short you need to market yourself to market your site. Especially in a niche which already has a gazillion competitors.

Make sure to use social media like Twitter and Facebook as well. Free and easy marketing tools.

Finally, you can't just throw in the towel after a few weeks. Nothing done right can be judged in a few weeks. You need to put time and effort into it. If it is part time than ten to twenty hours a week for six months building the site will make it strong. For any successful venture, you need to exert some effort. This is as true for websites as it is for winning an Olympic gold medal.

    Anyway, I hope this helps.
