You're a genius, Arny. I think you might be Walter Disney himself, reborn.

Nice implementation of features Yawl - I especially love the iTrader system - I'm not sure why on earth other forums that allow such paid trades to go on in their forums haven't implemented a similar system. So thanks for that - I like to think it keeps everybody honest - or at least helps towards the goal of honest providers anyway LOL

Also - congrats to the Mentors - I'd seen the rank badges and had wondered what that was all about.

    Jacquii.

Does the iTrader only apply to the AdminAddict Marketplace?

If so putting the request for free help in the AdminAddict Connect forum make sense now.

AA is definitely a nice site, as I've said multiple times before

iTrader can apply to trades/sales/deals/free-requests made anywhere on the site, but you can only see the rating (in the postbit) in the Connect, Marketplace and Graphics Requests forums.

It can also be seen and rated on member profiles. :)

Thinks I've got it. Took a few minutes.

Another site has iTrader enabled but it can only be used when a transaction has occurred as opposed to anytime someone feels like giving feedback, and then only once. Like amazon when you buy something from them, you receive an email/click on the link, and rate the transaction. You can not change that rating or give an additional rating after that.

(at least that is how it used to work)

We had it set up similar to that, but some members wanted it to be used for non-monetary jobs (i.e. graphic requests). Also, some wanted to be able to rate others for transactions that were done in private, and not necessarily associated with a "For Sale" or "For Hire" ad on the public forum. :o

I personally feel iTrader's use should be solely for monetary transactions. Like eBay if you like. Having a high iTrader rating for completing say graphic requests only opens up opportunities for 'scamming' by allowing potentially harmful members to embellish a false sense of trust within a community.

I tend to view it was iTrader for monetary transactions and Reputation for completion of free requests and good deads.

Yeah, we seem to have some conflicting views on this, so I'll open up a poll. :)

I thought you were implying that the Mentors should have en e-mail address. Apparently not.

So I have no idea what the point of your post was. :shifty:

Oh that. Wow, I was thinking that and type it out? o.O

Anyway, they're not necessarily needed now but maybe in the near future. Although I would take mine with my IRL first name and then ".mentor" since I've gotten enough jokes about me, modesty, and my username. :lol2: !
