1m post forum goes to vB5 and finds it a disaster.

Yikes. When I looked at the thread last I saw Mark as the last poster but the thread was still open for replies. Would be interesting to see which staff person had the difference of opinion and closed the thread, essentially making Mark's post look like he has no say in the matter.

Even funnier is that its not closed, and never has been (I checked the logs). Two poeple have since replied to it.

 

I'd swear after Bob posted about it being closed I loaded the page and the quick reply was missing.

 

I know that dude. He's the guy that gave me shit for asking VB5 questions in the vBull Pre Sales Questions . When I complained and pointed out this was a vBull 5 issue, all my questions were locked, I was banned from posting and lost my access. He tried to pull that on another customer and was told those questions no matter who asked them were appropriate for that folder.
Too late for me, I was booted and never darkened their door again. Scratch 1 VB5 Disconnected customer. I'm not complaining, he saved me from making a really bad investment.

You'll also see several old post by @Mark.B on admin sites like TAZ and even on vb.com where he didn't talk highly of IB or the early days of vBulletin 5. He's since been hired on as staff and has nothing but great things to say about management and the way the vBulletin brand is coming along.

Really? LOL I've always found him to have the personality and people skills of a camp fire, appears to be warm and friend from a distance but constantly blowing smoke at people along with lots of sparks hoping to ignite something.
He got hired after dissing IB? Cool, we could all be in for a job interview soon ROFLMAO

It seems to have got a lot of likes so people agree with it, anyways vb5 was what i was going to get but sadly i have heard so many vbulletin bad reviews so i decided to not go ahead with it.
