Why PPC?

Why would people use PPC? i thought it was good idea at first until it hit me that PPC isn't something that will help us but instead hurt us since we would be loosing money and not gaining to help us, why would google offer something like this called adwords, or other PPCs? i can't see how people can do this? we are struggling to get people to click on our site and stay long enough to either sign up or click on an ad.

so i ask everyone who sees this, why use PPC if you loose money and you don't have anything to gain from it but traffic? traffic isn't making money besides show that you can have people coming to your site and either looking around and leaving or maybe signing up or joining a newsletter....

so leave your feelings on this subject and why you would use it.

 

bidding on adwords on a highly competitive niche can be very dangerous and you might end uup loosing money.
While advertising , you have to options
1) put ur ad up only when search is done on Google only
2)put ur ad through adsense ...

so depending on how much u want to spare, u can choose one of the above options .

 

some people can't find any solution to gain traffic so they got PPC campaigns.... i have clients that realized that its much better to go for link building than Adwords...

 

I hate PPC...
I think paid per thousand impressions is far more better than PPC...

Now a days people are not clicking ads at all .....I got 1000 impressions but not even a single click (

get some book which teaches how to increase your CTR .

 

yes try to rearrange your ads or blend them with your template... its a waste if your traffic will for nothing...

 

ah thanks everyone for all the input as this will help when it comes to getting traffic and hopefully gain clicks when it comes to integrating google ads into a site and whether or not to use google adwords.
