Which Free Forum Hosting is the best?

Hey guys, I know there some topics like this but i didn't really find them help full to what im looking for but i hope you guys can help me. I want to create a forum and I was wondering which Free-Forum Hosting is the best, in terms of speed, responsability ( as in like trusting the hosting), and other things that would get you to use the forum.. Any input is appreciated thanks.

 

First of I would like to know is there any specific forum software you are looking to use or it does not matter?

Yeah i know, but i feel like, my forum would turn into nothing though, i suck at advertising and getting members to start with lol

 

Well don't give out. We all started somewhere... If you end up closing of course it will just be a waste. Leave it open and do the best you can.

Anyway, my recommendation is if you are after a true phpBB3 host, take a look at ProphpBB as they offer most of the features that phpBB3 does, and does not block them out, or require you to pay to unlock features that are free e.g. theme CSS customisation, imageset customisation, etc.

 

It actually belongs in Planning and Brainstorming as he hasn't yet chosen a host and is brainstorming about starting a new forum and which free forum host would be best for him.

Although I haven't used Zeta boards, I did use ProphpBB, and I have nothing but good things to say about it and the support is great. Its the best phpbb3 host. They wont restrict everything like what 90% of the hosts do such as freeforums.org
