Alaska, Washington, California, Louisiana, Illinois, back to California, Nevada, Idaho, back to CA again, Pennsylvania New Jersey, England, West Germany, New York, CA again, Hawaii, South Vietnam, Philippines, and again to California, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, CA another time, Oregon and I always seem to get back to California. All in that order.

I went to 7 different schools until I got to the 5th grade. Managed to go to 3 different colleges over a 10 year span without getting a degree.

The only time I didn't enjoy the travels was ducking bullets, rockets and mortars. I wear oxygen 24/7 now, so no more flying for me. But I hope to be able to drive to a few more states before my time is up.

Anyhow, I just wanted to aske is there no way you can still travel? I have a friend who's dad is on O2 and is still able to travel. He has to make some kind of arrangement with the hotel for 02 but I'm not sure about the plane ride.

I've never actually called an airline to ask, but I've heard from those who have. You can't take your own oxygen on-board. It might be a bomb. You have to arrange with the airline and there have been reports of fees upward of $500.00 extra just for the o2. Then I'd have to arrange for tanks and a concentrator at my destination.

I may never know the real deal. I can't afford to travel now. Can't work and earn a real living. I get a military pension, but my lung disease is not service connected. It should be, but they have determined it's not. Since I think it's as much or more my fault than theirs, I will not let it get to me. But they really should have told us all to wear the same gas masks the truck drivers wore as they drove through the compounds spraying insecticide every night.

Anyway, back on topic. I am looking forward to driving to Las Vegas next January for a convention. I went a few years ago and had a great time. I use a Segway for a mobility device and I can go and do just about anything anyone else can - except swimming in the hotel pool. ;)

    Hi guys,

I am in San Francisco since almost a year so I will give you some
    places you should go through.
A nice view of SF: from Marin Headlands on the other side of the
    Golden Gate Bridge.
A very good brunch: at Mama's on Washington Square. They don't take
reservations so you need to wait one hour in the line outside but it's
    worth it!
A great bar: the Dueling Pianos at Johnny Foley's that we call with my
friends the Mad Piano Bar as the atmosphere is crazy. Good nights are
warrantied! It's situated at 243 O'Farrell St (between Powell St &
    Cyril Magnin St).
During a sunny Sunday, don't miss a BBQ at the Golden Gate Park. Bring
your food, beverages, football ball (or others), don't forget to book
a table if you think it will be a lot of people, and let you have good
times with friends good food and sports!

    Enjoy!
