didnt know where exactly to post this....so i figured here in my fav area of aa....

why is it that I have these folders on the main page of my server?

lets use filezilla for example....heres what I see on the first section wher my vb is installed...

theres like 6-7 other folders installed there...

what is all this stuff? I only have vbadvance and vbulletin on this server...what is all this other stuff? i never do anything with it...anything i ever do always starts with forum/whatever/ect./ect.

can sumone help explain what these things are?

i thought about putting the names up, but then i thought it could be a security issue. Im gonna search the vba site and see if its vba related, as I didnt install either the vb or the vba when I origanally started the forum.

Not much we can do without the directory names.

Do any of them start with a . (dot) ?

Would have to verify their names, but most likely they are the stock folders that come with most accounts and are used for misc. data like FP extensions. If they are what I think they are, they'll have names like _vti_pvt, etc.
