What would be a good, reliable host for a site of the size of my own?

And don't answer 'dedicated server', because quite frankly, I do not have that amount of money, and with the site's topic, it'd be near impossible to make that amount.

Because my current host quite honestly sucks.

^Out of curiosity, what is your site, for interests in loading speed, activity, etc?

I have used hostgator for several years and from my experience I can say it is one of the best web hosting companies out there. Their price is pretty cheap. If you need any support, there is the online support 24/24 on their main site outthere to help you out.

You can go to hostgator.com to see more.

I have an anime site and a design site, but the design site is not open so these numbers will be according my anime site.

I have received 1425 unique visitors since November 10th till now, roughly 100 visitors a day, and my site is not fully open(reason why I'm not bothered for the lack of registration). Pisoga Reloaded

Were on a VPS with eukhost on a custom requested package hosted in the US instead of their usual UK based datacentres. We aint had any real problems at all :) If you chat with a salesperson you may be able to get the price down too!

    I highly recommend Future Hosting.

They have been my hosting provider for 2 1/2 years and have provided outstanding service.

Do you use a VPS, or dedicated server?

Well, you could start this way. What sort of resources do you need space and bandwidth wise? Do you want root acccess (IE: a VPS) or would you be content in a stable shared environment?

Is it for a vBulletin forum? If so, check out URLJet. I have one of my most active forums there and have never had any downtime.

I've been really happy with DreamHost.com, their support is awesome, their web based admin panel makes customizing backend stuff a breeze, and they have tons of 'apps' with one-click installs.

You can use code X8134 for $99.99 for 1 year of hosting.
