What domains do you use the most for your sites? .com, .org, .net or which one?

I tend to purchase domains with a .com extension - I have purchased .net's in the past (and just recently, actually), but generally, I like to stick with good ole' .com's.

I prefer .com (who doesn't?) but I don't mind .net if I have to resort to that.

    Moved to Domains & Hosting.

I've got both the .com and .org for my site (along with a few others), but we decided to go for .org as our main one.

I've used .org, .tv, .com and .net - - though .com is the best domain extension there is, in my opinion.

To be honest, I don't think that I'd ever use a .tv extension - for some reason, it just doesn't look "normal" to me (i.e. when compared to a .com).

Well, .tv was appropriate for me to use, as Family Guy is on TV, plus, the domain name is Bird is the Word; which also appears on TV...

So, it was the most appropriate decision.

Also pretty expensive! 21 dollars for one domain. :O

Be glad they're not trying to get one million for each .tv domain any more!

Agreed. Not all the time is the domain your want available.

I normally wouldn't use a .tv domain either, unless it's a movie-related forum, like TomZilla's Bird is the Word.

I prefer .com. If I really like the domain and .com is taken, maybe I'll consider .net.
