What PayPal account type should I choose?

If I want to accept donations to keep my site running? Which type do other people here use?

 

I use a Premier Account.

 

Concur with Nick. It's no extra cost and provides you with more detailed logs of transactions as well as over time. I believe that is the main difference from the Basic account. Suits needs of Donations quite easily.

Just remember that there is always a fee by Paypal on each transaction when receiving. Unless the person picks a certains type for the monies, I can't remember right now. Sorry.

 

I think you also need the Premier account in order to accept recurring payments. What I haven't been able to confirm yet is if the person donating on an autmomatic recurring basis must have a PayPal account. I know they don't need a PayPal account just to make a single donation though.
