What are your views on forum security?

I put this out to both users of forum platforms and devs as I'm interested in both points of view.

 

What do you mean? what do think of forum softwares security or forums? if you mean forum software security i think its pretty poor i see forums getting hacked constantly like PromotionZone just got hacked because of a vulnerability.

 

Forum software security I think covers forums as a whole but yeah, there is a lot of information that can be gleamed from a forum, more specifically members information, database content.
