Tell us a little about yourself

I am a 40-something male living in Google, Kansas for 6 years this month. After being laid off from 3 jobs (twice having my job shipped overseas) I gave up on employment here and decided to start my own business as a videographer. Which is a big step from my 26 years as a computer programmer and web designer. It's a hard road, but so far it's been a great journey. Fortunately, I have a very loving and supportive girlfriend.

How did you find the General Forums?

Link from Brandon's blog, which I found through his Facebook page, which was recommended to me by a friend.

Where about on this planet do you live?

Google (Topeka), Kansas... with some of the best and most friendly people you'd ever meet. Too bad it's a poor area for jobs.
