I am pleased to announce that AdminAddict has successfully been transferred over to our new and improved server. Because of this, you should notice a tremendous difference in not only the loading speeds, but also the overall performance of the website. The transition process was seamless and was completed without a hitch.

Mhm, It use to take about 5 seconds to load, now it takes about 1 second, maybe even less. :lol:

 

For me, it used to not load at all. Now it doesn't load at all, but I still see the page. It's that quick.

 

I think it used take way more than five seconds to load. At least for me it did. :p :slow:

The constantly varying loading speeds were most definitely due to the server hosting us. I'm quite sure that it had little to do with the internet connection speeds of each individual member.

 

It was a long time for me, at least 20 seconds.


So you put a re-direct on the server that .com pointed to?

 

The .com domain name is now being redirected to the .net domain name, yes.

 

Yes. We moved the content to the .net domain on a new VPS and imposed a redirect from all .com pages to their respective .net match.

 

We'll have them again if you do your job!

Eventually VPSes get a bit crowded >_>
