I am wanting to remove the alt text generated for all permalinks shown in the postbit. How can I edit these so there is no alt text generated for them?

    Thank you :)

Best bet is asking at vbseo, I don't know that this is a default option

Would you or anyone else say it was worth removing since I noticed in Webmaster Tools "permalink" is meant to be on one of our sites around 200k+ times and is caused by that alt text?

    Thanks

Which links are you referring to? Do you have an example?

I just did a search in phrases, and there is a permalink phrase: vbseo_permalink. Not sure if that's what you're after.

It is say on the right of this post, the number #5 will be there, when you hover it, the title text is permalink :)
