I've looked on the vbseo website and I can't find an answer to this question:

Is there a way to change the default green buttons (new thread, etc.) that is on the vBSEO 1.0 Style skin?

I thought I'd ask those that know design and customization.

Can someone point me in the right direction in terms of where to find this in CSS to make a change? Do I have to install a new set of buttons?

    Thanks!

I'm not too keen on all of this vbulletin customization, so even the "easy" things are taking me forever to do. :o

In vBulletin 3.8.X, the buttons used are images so to change them you would need to upload new ones as Kevin said.

In vBulletin 4.0, you would be able to change the colors and backgrounds of your buttons using CSS.

I suspect many vBulletin designers will be getting a crash course in CSS in the next few months. Many of the styles available at vBulletin.org are simply point and click color changes with a couple template modifications tossed in. The people who don't work with CSS will be in for a surprise.

On the plus side, end-users will be able to accomplish a lot more once they get the CSS concepts down.

If you're in the market for a custom style right now, you should look for a designer who already works in CSS.
