vb4 Templating System

Is there any plans by vb to change all of this or make it easier to use?

I cant see myself being able to use it to make something custom, it seems as if just to remove certain things I dont like I am going to have to replace it with something else when I would want nothing there at all for example those RSS and subscriptions on the index, I hate them and when I remove the list item the layout goes to crap, it is looking to me like everything will just be smart hacks to make it look the way you want it. I really am not happy with it, it is a joke to try and make look nice. They have really f*****d over anyone who doesnt know CSS layouts well, I really feel sorry for the new forum owner.

 

Do you actually mean the template system, or just the CSS style ?

Yeah, I do feel for the designers that 'thought' they knew it. Now it's more involved with css. I've looked at the css templates and still shudder.

Simple design changes aren't going to be that bad. But if you want a major layout change be prepared to spend awhile getting it right.
