vb4 Q & A

I made a few posts on vb.com today and they are using the beta v4.

I was not subscribed to those threads I had posted to. I went to the control panel user options and there were 4 options:

1. Through my control panel only
2. Instantly using email
3. Daily using email
4. Weekly using email

Mine was set to #1. Could this be a bug? I'm not quite sure why it is worded that way.

I'm not sure but the site seems to be changing (rapidly for the better). It appears that there is a button to click in the advanced reply box that needs to be checked to subscribe to the thread when replying. I don't think replying via quick reply subscribes to the the thread.


Those people seem incredibly hard working and bright, I'm sure that will be brought to their attention by someone soon. I certainly don't want to add to their work load, at least at this time.

 

Please bring it up there. We recently had a meeting and something was overlooked in the meeting. It was something simple and seemingly obvious but no one mentioned it because we thought someone else would. No one did and it caused a lot of grief. So please post it and make sure the issue gets heard. Otherwise everyone might think someone else posted it. Personally, I don't use thread subscriptions so never would have noticed.

 

I looked around and it was already reported in the Project Tools 2 times.

I've been asking myself how I can help, without being a pest. My conclusion was to go through the already reported bugs and click on the ones I can replicate.

Perhaps I should post in those in addition to clicking on the replicate box? Again I want to help, but not be a pest.
