    From vB.com
    Translation:
We have a alpha product, we cannot develop it anymore, please, read this and help us....

I wonder if quality will improve.
I mean when you install .4 and there is two showstopper bugs, makes you wonder how much lower you can go.

Maybe, just maybe, the company will get some people in there that have a vision of what a 21st century forum is "supposed" to be like. Who knows, we might even get some new features?

I'am getting tired of using software that is outdated by 3, 4,,,,, or more years. While sites like facebook are continuing to add features and grab up new members, vbulletin is falling further and further behind the times.

vbulletin should have a built in content management system 5 or 6 years ago, not last year. Where is the built in chat room, or something like comet chat, built in video script,,,,,,.

Here we are,,, what 6+ months after the release of vb4, and still not major improvements.

I'am getting tired of logging into facebook and asking myself - "why can't my forum have these features?"

meh.. I hope they get some good applications, but I'm not holding my breath for a usable 4.0 because of it.

I don't fit the above criteria but I can tell them what not to do when releasing a new license.;)

I don't think it has too much hope left. Not for the next few years at least. Maybe when forums are not mainstream anymore.

Experience with CMS systems like MovableType, Wordpress a plus.

I guess the forums portion is complete then... excellent. A job well done.

I see myself porting my v3.8.5 vBulletin to another platform long before vBulletin ever becomes competitive with progressive platforms like IP.Board.
